Government Information Center in Surigao Sur Engages with LGU Bayabas for Enhanced Communication Support

IN PHOTOS | Personnel from the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) – Surigao del Sur Government Information Center met with Mayor Apolonio B. Lozada of Bayabas, the smallest town in Surigao del Sur, and discussed the key programs and projects of the LGU that require communication support and collaboration.

The meeting also covered the coordination for the upcoming "Assessment of Information and Communication Needs of Communities," a nationwide survey spearheaded by PIA. Two barangays from Bayabas have been identified for inclusion in the assessment, aiming to strengthen information dissemination and public engagement.

Sangguniang Bayan member Madelyn Lozada was also present during the discussion, reinforcing the municipality's commitment to transparent and effective communication efforts. (NGRB, PIA-Surigao del Sur)
