IN PHOTOS | Regional Director Jose Eric Furia of the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Revenue Region No. 17 in Caraga region reiterated the Agency's priority programs, during the Kapihan sa Bagong Pilipinas on October 8, 2024, hosted by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga.

"The BIR is responsible for collecting taxes and ensuring tax compliance. To enhance its performance and improve revenue collection, it implements several priority programs each year. While the specific programs may evolve overtime, these are the priority programs that we focus on: 1) Tax Mapping Operations; 2) Run After Tax Evaders (RATE) Program; 3) Oplan Kandado Program; 4) Taxpayer Awareness Program; 5) Audit and Investigation Program; and 6) Digital Transformation Program," said Dir.
