PIA Caraga strengthens grassroots coordination in Barangay Tabon

IN PHOTOS | The Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga, together with the Surigao del Sur Provincial Government Information Center (PGIC) personnel, conducted a community visit to Barangay Tabon, Bislig City as part of its grassroots coordination efforts.

The delegation met with members of the barangay council and the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) chairperson to gain insights into the community's information needs and identify possible areas for collaboration in government communication and community engagement.

Barangay Tabon is recognized as the second-largest and most densely populated barangay in Bislig City, making it an important community partner in local governance and grassroots information dissemination.

The visit reflects PIA's commitment to strengthening partnerships at the community level and ensuring that timely, accurate, and people-centered government information reaches communities where it matters most. (NGPB, PIA Surigao del Sur)

During the Inter-Agency Visitation of Indigenous Cultural Communities/IPs in Brgy. Salug, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur, MGen.
