PIA Caraga, LGU Bislig City strengthen coordination for grassroots communication

IN PHOTOS | The Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga, led by Regional Head Venus Lim-Garcia, together with the Surigao del Sur Provincial Government Information Center (PGIC) personnel, conducted a courtesy visit and coordination meeting with Bislig City Mayor Florencio C. Garay as part of efforts to strengthen government information dissemination and community engagement.

During the meeting, PIA introduced its flagship programs and discussed capability development initiatives that may serve as areas for collaboration with the city government, particularly in enhancing local communication and bringing timely, accurate, and people-centered government information closer to communities.

The activity underscores PIA's commitment to building stronger partnerships with local government units and other stakeholders to ensure that government programs, services, and initiatives reach the grassroots. (NGPB, PIA Surigao del Sur)

During the Inter-Agency Visitation of Indigenous Cultural Communities/IPs in Brgy. Salug, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur, MGen.
