Caraga Regional Interagency Monitoring Team (RIMT) PCAT-VAWC conducts PCAT-VAWC functionality assessment in Agusan Sur

IN PHOTO | The members of the Caraga Regional Interagency Monitoring Team (RIMT) comprising of representatives from member-agencies of the Caraga Regional Interagency Committee Against Traffficking and Violence Against Women and Children (RIACAT-VAWC) visited its provincial counterpart in Agusan del Sur on May 5, 2026, to conduct their annual functionality assessment.

The said assessment aims to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the anti-trafficking and anti-VAWC initiatives of the provincial committees across the region. By the end of the assessment, an exit conference was conducted which served as a platform for the evaluators to provide technical assistance and recommendation, followed by the announcement of the results. CORDS X and PCOO secretary Martin Andanar assured the affected residents involved in the CPP-NPA's burning of houses and a chapel in Opol, Misamis Orientel that help will be provided to them. "As the designated Cabinet Officer for Regional Development and Security for Northern Mindanao (CORDS X), we will help coordinate with the local government and the concerned government agencies to ensure that those affected are given the assistance that they need.
