Governor Barbers Convenes Surigao del Norte Provincial Peace and Order Council; Strengthens Multi-Sectoral Collaboration

IN PHOTO | To further solidify the province’s commitment to safety and sustainable development, Governor Robert Lyndon S. Barbers presided over the Surigao del Norte Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) meeting held at the Provincial Capitol.

The said activity brought together key stakeholders, including heads of national line agencies,  Philippine National Police (PNP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and representatives from various non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

"Peace is not merely the absence of conflict, but the presence of cooperation. When our national agencies, our security forces, and our civil society partners speak with one voice, we create a Surigao del Norte that is not only peaceful but prosperous," Gov. Barbers said.
