DOH promotes program on MR-SIA in Caraga

IN PHOTO | Dr. Amethyst Kathleen G. Alicante, medical officer IV of the Department of Health-Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD) Caraga urged all parents with children aged 6 months to 59 months to have their children vaccinated in the barangay during the Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MR-SIA) from January 19 to February 13, 2026.

The medical officer emphasized that vaccination prevents infection and complications brought by measles and rubella, specially that measles remains an important cause of death among young children globally. (MFC, PIA Caraga)
