Surigao del Norte Provincial Government distributes educational aid to 640 students

IN PHOTO | As part of the continuous strengthening of the education sector, some 648 students in the municipality of Claver, Surigao del Norte benefi from the Educational Assistance Program of the provincial government of Surigao del Norte through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) which aims to provide direct financial support to help students with their school needs and ease the financial burden on their families.

The distribution on December 15, 2025 allows each student to received P2,500 as financial aid. Each grant is expected to be used for purchasing school supplies, funding projects, and other learning requirements.Through this initiative, the provincial government continues to strengthen its support for the youth, especially in education as an investment in knowledge and a brighter future for the coming generations.
