Prov’l gov’t of Surigao Sur, Tandag City forge sisterhood agreement with San Juan City, Metro Manila

IN PHOTO | The provincial government of Surigao del Sur and the city government of Tandag signed a Sisterhood Agreement with the city of San Juan, Metro Manila, on August 15, 2025, at the Provincial Legislative Session Hall, Capitol Hills, Tandag City. 

The partnership aims to enhance cooperation in governance, education, livelihood, tourism, and cultural exchange, thereby creating more opportunities that will uplift communities across both local government units.

Local leaders lauded the agreement as a symbol of unity and solidarity, emphasizing that collaboration between Metro Manila and Surigao del Sur will pave the way for inclusive and sustainable development. (NGPB, PIA Surigap del Sur)
