IN PHOTO | "On Independence Day, we renew our collective duty to safeguard freedom — not just in ceremonies, but in real and meaningful actions that change lives," shared Gov. Santiago B. Cane Jr. during the celebration of this year's Philippine Independence Day.

"True independence is not something we celebrate yearly. It is a responsibility that we carry every single day through the choices we make, the unity we uphold, and the compassion we extend to one another," he added.

He also officially opened the event on the Kalayaan Job Fair. "A symbol of our shared pursuit of true independence through economic opportunity. Here, we are not just offering jobs. We are offering hope. We are restoring dignity. We are giving every Agsurnon a chance to take part in building a better life — for themselves, for their families, and for this province that we all love." (KKG, PIA Agusan del Sur)
