Grand Opening of the 33rd Naliyagan Festival

IN PHOTO | Governor Santiago B. Cane Jr. welcomed all attendees to the grand opening of the 33rd Naliyagan Festival, held on June 12, 2025 at the Datu Lipus Makapandong Cultural Center, Government Center, Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.

In his message, Cane emphasized the enduring spirit of unity and cultural pride that the festival represented.

"May the Naliyagan Festival continue to be a place of healing, pride, and shared joy—a celebration where our tribal and non-tribal communities walk hand in hand toward peace, prosperity, and lasting progress," he said.

The Naliyagan Festival, a week-long cultural celebration, honors the rich heritage, traditions, and resilience of the people of Agusan del Sur, showcasing the vibrant customs of its indigenous peoples, alongside the dynamic growth of its modern communities. (KKG, PIA Agusan del Sur)
