The 544th Engineer (Pioneers) Construction Battalion

IN PHOTOS | The 544th Engineer (Pioneers) Construction Battalion under the 52nd Engineer (Kaayadan) Brigade of the Philippine Army, led by Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Ricky N. Baguio, warmly welcomed the personnel from the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Agusan del Sur Government Information Center during a courtesy visit.

During the engagement, LTC Baguio shared the Battalion’s key accomplishments both within the province and across their designated area of responsibility (AOR). 

He highlighted several infrastructure and community development projects that have significantly contributed to local progress and stability.

He emphasized that most of these initiatives have been positively received by residents, particularly in the communities where the projects were implemented, noting their impact on improving the daily lives of the residents and supporting peace and development efforts.

As his term as the Battalion Commander set to conclude in June 2025, LTC Baguio expressed his confidence that the Philippine Army will remain steadfast in its commitment to serving the province, ensuring continued support and dedication to nation-building efforts. (KKG, PIA Agusan del Sur)
