PIA Information Needs Survey Reaches Island Barangay of Cabayawan in Dinagat Town

IN PHOTOS | The team from the Planning and Communication Research Division (PCRD) of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), along with the information officers of the PIA Caraga, conducted a nationwide survey on the information and communication needs of local communities to the island barangay of Cabayawan in Dinagat town, ensuring inclusive participation of the locals in far-flung areas.

CORDS X and PCOO secretary Martin Andanar assured the affected residents involved in the CPP-NPA's burning of houses and a chapel in Opol, Misamis Orientel that help will be provided to them. "As the designated Cabinet Officer for Regional Development and Security for Northern Mindanao (CORDS X), we will help coordinate with the local government and the concerned government agencies to ensure that those affected are given the assistance that they need. During the Inter-Agency Visitation of Indigenous Cultural Communities/IPs in Brgy. Salug, Esperanza, Agusan del Sur, MGen.
