IN PHOTOS | Daphne Tuazon, focal person for solo parents of the Butuan City Social Welfare and Development Department (CSWDD) discussed thoroughly how one can be considered as a solo parent (qualifications), including its requirements, and benefits to avail, during the conduct of the "Panagtigum sa Barangay," at the covered court of Brgy. Holy Redeemer, Butuan City.

She said, with this new law on Republic Act 11861 or the "Expanded Solo Parents Welfare Act," there are revisions in the law including the qualifications. She further urged her co-solo parents to exercise their rights and avail of the benefits offered as stipulated in RA 11861. (JPG, PIA Caraga)
