Turned over a two-story building
IN PHOTOS | District Engineer Wealth M. Merillan, officer-in-charge of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) turned over a two-story building with 10 classrooms on December 20, 2024 at Sta. Irene Central Elementary School in Sta. Irene, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur.
Parish priest of San Roque Rev. Fr. Marlon U. Jabonite of the Congregation of the Sacred Stigmata of Our Lord Jesus Christ (CSS) led the blessing of the said new building with the presence of Agusan del Sur 1st District Congressional Representative Alfelito "Alfel" Bascug, Assistant Superintendent of the Department of Education (DepEd) Agusan del Sur Marilou A. Laurencio, School Principal Mary Grace P. Mangadlao, along with the teachers and staff, barangay officials led by Punong Barangay Adolfo Peregrino, and members of the barangay council.
The building is equipped with a complete water system and solar energy, ensuring uninterrupted and sustainable support for quality education. The facility aims to create a conducive learning environment for the students. (KKG, PIA-Agusan del Sur)
