Hapag para sa mga Persons Who Use Drugs (PWUDs)

IN PHOTO | The municipality of Esperanza was awarded for its innovative program, "Hapag para sa mga Persons Who Use Drugs (PWUDs)," during the 1st Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) Summit cum AgSOAR Awards on Oct. 4, 2024, at the covered court, D.O. Plaza Government Center, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, spearheaded by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Agusan del Sur Provincial Office. 

One of the key initiatives under this program is a communal garden that has become a best practice for the PWUDs in Esperanza. This initiative does not only help improve interpersonal relationships among PWUDs but also provides a source of nutritious food for their daily needs.(Kelvin Kennt R. Generalo, PIA-Agusan del Sur)
