EOC MANAGEMENT TRAINING

IN PHOTO | Erma Suyo, chief of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) of Agusan del Norte facilitated the conduct of the 3-day training on Emergency Operations Center Management to the members of the PDRRMC and academe sector in the province.

Suyo said that the training was designed to improve participants' use of the Incident Command System for effective emergency response and coordination and to capacitate concerned personnel in addressing the needs of the Agusanons during emergencies and disasters. (NCLM, PIA-Agusan del Norte)

  To equip the enlisted privates of the 4th Civil-Military Operations (CMO) Battalion (4CMOBn), Philippine Army with the right knowledge and skills in basic journalism, the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga, facilitated the conduct of training on basic news writing and photo journalism to some 30 participants at the 4CMOBn Conference Room in Brgy. Bancasi, Butuan City.  As the resource speaker on basic news writing, Jennifer Gaitano, Information Officer III of PIA Caraga, discussed the important elements to consider when writing a news story.
