Binancilan, shared the nature of the Communist Party of the Philippines/New People's Army/National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF), during the media orientation by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) in partnership with the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) in Butuan City on September 5, 2024.

"The nature of the CPP-NPA-NDF threats objective is to seize political power through violence/terrorism, present themselves as champions of the poor masses, exploiting economic, social roots of conflict, resource-based conflicts, and political action-mobilized people and resources," he said. (Kelvin Kennt R.
