Butuan Archaeological Park

Butuan City on Sept. 5, 2024, and witnessed the old coffin burials that led to the discovery of the boat.

Eunice Plaza, information officer III of National Museum of the Philippines-Butuan briefed the team on the ongoing efforts of the city government to enhance the area as well as the excavation site at the back of the Toyota building near the archaeological park. (Jennifer P. Gaitano/PIA-Caraga)
