Department of Education
(DepEd) Caraga Regional Director Dr. Biatriz G. Torno, during the plenary
session of the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) on November 17, 2017
held at the gymnasium of Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte, said that the RSPC
in Caraga is a replica of the Association of the Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)
Summit that is being hosted by the Philippines. The RSPC is a venue to promote
campus journalism where Caraga’s cream of the crop turns the region as a

Deputy Regional Director Fryan Abkilan of PIA Caraga delivers his message
during the plenary session of the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) on
November 17, 2017, spearheaded by the Department of Education (DepEd) held at
the gymnasium of Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte. Clavite emphasized to all
the students that hardwork coupled with honesty will bring them to places.

During the launching of
the Regional GovNet Project of the Department of Information and Communications
Technology (DICT) Caraga in Butuan City on November 9, 2017, Assistant
Secretary Alan Silor said that as of November 2017, the country has
successfully connected seven regional centers in Tuguegarao, Iloilo, Pampanga,
