Butuan Art Festival

The Butuan Art Festival is joined by other artists from Luzon, Visayas and other parts of Mindanao in the art exhibit on February 18 at the Robinsons Place, Butuan City. 

The Butuan local artists led by Renante "Kuya Dubs" Dubluis, along with Ronnie Rudinas of Kwadraro, among others are all here to showcase their artworks and inspire emerging artists to nurture the passion and encourage the young ones to venture into arts and discover the beauty in this craft.

BALIK BUTUAN

  The participants of today's Balik Butuan Tour spearheaded by the local government of Butuan through the City Tourism Office, visited the PAQAOA which stands for Peace and Quite and Open Air, located in Barangay Bit-os, Butuan City, just along the Agusan River. This is the residence of former Ambassador of the Philippines to United Arab Emirates (UAE), Roy Señeres. Accordingly, the family will soon accept visitors and guests through appointments. Renovation of the entire place is ongoing.

Training on basic news writing and photo journalism

  To equip the enlisted privates of the 4th Civil-Military Operations (CMO) Battalion (4CMOBn), Philippine Army with the right knowledge and skills in basic journalism, the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga, facilitated the conduct of training on basic news writing and photo journalism to some 30 participants at the 4CMOBn Conference Room in Brgy. Bancasi, Butuan City.  As the resource speaker on basic news writing, Jennifer Gaitano, Information Officer III of PIA Caraga, discussed the important elements to consider when writing a news story.
