IP Youth Forum

IN PHOTO | Indigenous peoples (IP) youth leaders in Surigao del Norte gathered during the IP Youth Summit on October 22, 2026 in Surigao City to discuss leadership, cultural preservation, and youth empowerment.

The summit was spearheaded by the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga, National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Caraga, provincial government of Surigao del Norte through its Culture and Arts Office, and UN-Habitat.

The multi-stakeholder activity aimed to strengthen the role of IP youth in community development, peacebuilding, and heritage conservation across the province. (SDR, PIA Surigao del Norte)
