NFA announces inclusion of drivers as beneficiaries of the 'benteng bigas'

IN PHOTOS |  During an interview with the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga on April 14, 2026, Regional Manager Leo V. Damole of the National Food Authority (NFA) Caraga announces that drivers are now included as beneficiaries of the P20/kilo rice program. 
“The inclusion aims to ease the financial burden on the transport sector, one of the groups most affected by increasing fuel prices and the rising cost of basic commodities such as rice,” Manager Damole said. (RLE, PIA Dinagat Islands)
