PIA Surigao Sur honored by DSWD for support to 4Ps implementation

IN PHOTOS | The Philippine Information Agency (PIA) – Surigao del Sur Government Information Center received a Plaque of Commendation from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in recognition of its unwavering support in the implementation of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in the province for Fiscal Year 2025.

The recognition was conferred during the 4Ps 2nd Madayaw SurSur Awarding Ceremony, held on December 15, 2025 at the Convention Hall, COAFC, Bislig City.

In the same ceremony, the DSWD also awarded a Certificate of Commendation to the Government Information Center Coordinator Nida Grace P. Barcena for her valuable commitment and consistent participation in the regular meetings of the Provincial Advisory Council (PAC). The award highlights her role in strengthening inter-agency partnerships, enhancing collaborative governance, and contributing to the effective implementation of the 4Ps in Surigao del Sur for Fiscal Year 2025.

The commendations underscore the vital role of PIA in information dissemination, advocacy, and inter-agency collaboration in support of social protection programs that uplift the lives of Filipino families. (NGPB, PIA Surigao del Sur)
