Tandag City kicks off Linggo ng Kabataan 2025 with mental health, HIV awareness symposium

IN PHOTOS | The city government of Tandag, through the Federation of Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) and the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC), opened the Linggo ng Kabataan celebration on August 12, 2025 with a symposium on mental health and HIV awareness at the Tandag City gymnasium.

Anchored on the theme, “Local Youth Actions for the Sustainable Development Goals and Beyond,” the event gathered youth leaders and stakeholders to promote holistic well-being and informed decision-making among the younger generation.

Barangay Telaje SK Chairperson Vladimir Alexis Luna said, “Today’s gathering is more than just an event—it is a platform for awareness, education, and compassion.” (NGPB, PIA Surigao del Sur)
