COMELEC Dinagat Shares Readiness for the NLE 2025

Election Officer Eugene Fred D. Ravelo of the municipality of Dinagat shared to the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga Assistant Reginal Head Renelle L. Escuadro, also the government center coordinator of the Province of Dinagat Islands, the planning and preparations made by the Commission on Elections, together with key stakeholders such as the Department of Education, Philippine National Police. Philippine Coast Guard and the Philippine Army, to ensure the peaceful and timely conduct of the national and local elections on May 12, 2025. 

He said, "The town is generally peaceful and we are Code Green. However, due to our geographical location where we have two island barangays, a coastal one and another two geographically disadvantaged and isolated areas, including the threat on bad weather, our preparations were stringent, including early deployment of the automated counting machines, other election paraphernalia and the members of the electoral board."
