IN PHOTO | The first-ever Bamboo Textile Fiber Innovation Hub (BTFIH) in Mindanao officially opens in Sitio Cabayugan, Barangay Simbalan.

The new facility is capable of processing up to 40 kilograms of raw bamboo fibers daily. Equipped with modern technology, the hub empowers local farmers by giving them access to advanced processing methods and opportunities to take part in the growing textile industry. (NCLM, PIA Agusan del Norte)
