Strengthening Barangay Drug-Clearing Efforts in Tandag City

IN PHOTOS | During the training on the Revitalization and Sustainability of the Barangay Drug-Clearing Program (BDCP) held in Tandag City on February 27, 2025, PDEA Legal Officer Randy Agustin delivered a comprehensive discussion on the Salient Features of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

He emphasized the importance of a drug-free workplace, outlined key strategies for effective implementation, and highlighted PDEA’s validation process in certifying barangays as drug-cleared.

The training, which gathered barangay local officials and multi-sectoral stakeholders, enhanced their capacity in sustaining anti-drug efforts at the grassroots level, reinforcing the city’s commitment to safer and drug-free communities. (NGPB, PIA-Surigao del Sur)
