Moral Recovery and Values Formation Services (MRVFS)
IN PHOTOS | Ronnah Joy Madridano, officer-in-charge of the Moral Recovery and Values Formation Services (MRVFS), shared the office’s mandates and services with the personnel of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Agusan del Sur Government Information Center during a courtesy visit.
“MRVFS is a six-point program of the province of Agusan del Sur. We are under the social services sector, and our mandate is to provide moral recovery and values formation to the youth, parents, barangays, and schools in the community,” she said.
“We have two main projects in our program: one focuses on providing moral recovery and values formation to Agsurnon youth, which is specifically intended for school-aged children, children of farmers (enrolled in the Upland Sustainable Agri-Forestry Development or USAD program), children in conflict with the law (CICL), and out-of-school youth (OSY). The second project focuses on the community, which is intended for parents, families, farmers, and USAD participants,” she added.
Madridano also highlighted their collaboration with other government agencies, including the Substance Use Recovery and Enlightenment (SURE) program, which supports Persons Who Use Drugs (PWUDs); the Education Development Services (EDS), which offers career guidance and scholarship programs; and the USAD.
