IN PHOTOS | During a courtesy visit on Jan. 22, 2025 by the personnel of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Government Information Center in Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, Provincial Public Information Office (PPIO) Head PJ V. Dela Peña Jr. shared updates on the directive of Gov. Santiago Cane Jr. to all the departments of the provincial government, including the significant upcoming activities, and ongoing projects of the PPIO.

Dela Peña announced their preparations for the upcoming installation of the new Bishop of the Diocese of Prosperidad, scheduled on January 28, 2025.

He also expressed excitement about the upcoming launch of a new youth hub at the PPIO in February 2025, which is intentionally designed to serve the students.

This hub will cater the students from nearby schools and those seeking their services, providing them access to computers with internet connection, free printing, and other facilities aimed at enhancing their learning experience.

Dela Peña further highlighted the positive impact of the PPIO's Live Remote Broadcast initiative, as it engages the local residents in the far-flung barangays through a substantive discussion on the issues and concerns in their area.

"Through this program, the remote areas in the province can access the services of the PPIO and other government offices, and gain visibility by being featured in this live broadcast," he said. (KKG, PIA-Agusan del Sur)
