IN PHOTO | Engr. Ver Lancer Galanida of DOST- PAGASA shared the weather forecast for the remaining days of February 2025 during the quarterly meeting of the Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Committee (PDPMC) in Agusan del Norte, held in Butuan City.

Galanida said, “There will be no weather disturbance to enter the province of Agusan del Norte this month.” (NCLM, PIA-Agusan del Norte)

  To equip the enlisted privates of the 4th Civil-Military Operations (CMO) Battalion (4CMOBn), Philippine Army with the right knowledge and skills in basic journalism, the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga, facilitated the conduct of training on basic news writing and photo journalism to some 30 participants at the 4CMOBn Conference Room in Brgy. Bancasi, Butuan City.  As the resource speaker on basic news writing, Jennifer Gaitano, Information Officer III of PIA Caraga, discussed the important elements to consider when writing a news story. She also shared tips on how to effectively write a straight news.  #ExplainExplainExplain
