Tadeo Culla, assistant director-general for organizational development and international affairs of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) expressed his appreciation for all the Butuanons as he experienced the welcoming culture of the people in his visit to Butuan City, and learned about the traditional art, weaving designs and techniques of the indigenous people groups.

"PIA will continue to promote the rich culture and tradition of the Butuanons," said Atty. Culla.
