The inauguration of the “Hamugaway” Peace and Development Center

IN PHOTOS | The inauguration of the “Hamugaway” Peace and Development Center, led by Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) Senior Undersecretary Isidro L. Purisima and Governor Alexander T. Pimentel, marks a significant milestone in the province's commitment to peace and reconciliation. This center, located in Barangay Dayoan, Tago, Surigao del Sur, is the latest addition to the growing network of peace and development centers in the Caraga region.

The proactive establishment of these centers—first in Agusan del Norte in September 2023, followed by Surigao del Norte in July 2024—demonstrates the region's leadership in fostering peace and development.
