Dr. Odelio Ferrer, Agusan del Norte provincial health officer bared that they continue to assist and facilitate other concerned government agencies that handle the stranded local individuals returning to Agusan del Norte and other parts of Caraga region, and make sure that health protocols are strictly followed. He also stressed that the provincial health office and hospital ensure protection of their workers while they do their duties and responsibilities amid the COVID-19 pandemic.


Dr. Odelio Ferrer, provincial health officer of Agusan del Norte expressed thanks to the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) led by Sec. Martin Andanar, and the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) for donating facemasks and face shields for the health workers of the provincial hospital. "This is really a big help for our frontliners and health workers as we continue to serve patients in our health facility," he said.



The Agusan del Norte Provincial Hospital situated in Butuan City has received 3,500 pieces of surgical face masks, 100 pieces N95 masks, and 50 pieces face shields from PCOO Sec. Martin Andanar, which were handed over today, June 3 by the personnel of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Caraga. The PCOO wanted to extend support and assistance to the frontliners/health workers from government hospitals.
