Bureau of Internal
Revenue Region 17 regional director Jose Eric Furia during an interview with
Philippine Information Agency Caraga personnel on March 13, 2018, says that
their office is intensifying their efforts in implementing the Tax Mapping
Operation, 'Oplan Kandado' to violating establishments; and the Run After Tax
Evaders Program. He also stresses that they will not tolerate blatant

Closure Order
In connection with the
implementation of the Closure Order duly signed by Atty. Arnel Guballa, deputy
commissioner of Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) for the temporary suspension
of business operation, the BIR Revenue Region 17 Office thru Revenue District
Office 103 closes the Powerplus Trading situated in Ochoa Avenue, Butuan City
on March 13, 2018. This is enforced in view of the failure to comply of the
criteria for operating a legitimate business. (PIA Caraga)
