Department of Transportation Caraga regional director Datu Alexander Mama-o during the press conference on January 17, 2017 says that the pending plastic card drivers' license from August 2015 to Jan. 13, 2017 has reached to a total of 81,901 for the Caraga region. (PIA Caraga)

Mikunug Darapa, Jr., regional adjudicator of Department of Transportation Caraga during the press conference on January 17, 2017 bares that the top 10 violations mostly committed by drivers in Caraga that have been recorded are as follows: 1) Excess Load; 2) Failure to use seatbelt; 3) No brake light; 4) No EWD; 5) No helmet; 6) OR/CR not carried; 7) Expired registration; 8) Wearing of slippers/short pants; 9) No driver's license; and 10) No side mirror. Ernesto Caballero of the operations division of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) Caraga during the agency’s press conference on January 17, 2017 says that there are some 3,475 unclaimed drivers license that are still with the Law Enforcement and Traffic Adjudication System (LETAS) office. These drivers license were confiscated during apprehension for violations committed. (PIA Caraga)

Department of Transportation (DOTr) Caraga Planning and Technical Services head Maria Kristina Cassion clarifies the issue involving media practitioners who are allegedly deputized by their office during the agency’s press conference on January 17, 2017. She says that those who were formerly issued with the IDs during the stint of the former DOTr director are no longer valid and should not be used for free ride of any public vehicle. (PIA Caraga)
