The launching of Food Safe Caraga Campaign in
Butuan City held in Butuan City on October 25, 2016 was participated by meat
vendors, market supervisors, LGU representatives, media and partner agencies.

expresses appreciation to Winrock-PCCP for the Food Safe Program during the
Memorandum of Understanding signing and Food Safe Caraga campaign launching

supportive on the program, the municipality of Carmen in the province has an
existing ordinance on Food Safety while Cabadbaran City has already in place a

According to her, the Food Safe Caraga campaign has 2 major components: a
training programme on meat handling for meat shop operators and workers, meat
vendors and the general public; and
public awareness campaign to disseminate information about food safety and
improve the food handling practices of the residents of Caraga region. (PIA

International-Philippine Cold Chain Project said during the Memorandum of
Understanding signing and Food Safe Caraga launching held in Butuan City on
October 25, 2016 that food preparation should be handled well and that it
