Project Shoebox Distribution Ceremony

 Filipino Seafarers' Day Celebration

Maritime Industry Authority Regional Office-13 regional director Engr. Emmanuel Carpio in an interview during the Filipino Seafarers’ Day celebration in Butuan City on June 25, 2016 said that Filipino Seafarers’ Day Celebration is declared under Presidential Proclamation No. 183, giving respect to the seafarers who are working overseas and have great contribution in the boost of our economy. Edrian John Simeon, a Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation student, said during the Filipino Seafarers’ Day celebration in Butuan City on June 25, 2016 that he was truly inspired by his father to pursue in getting the course.
