Ecumenical Local Candidates Forum held on May 3, 2016 at the Robinsons
Place' Atrium in Butuan City spearheaded by the Diocese of Butuan, in
partnership with the Butuan Evangelical Ministers' Association, Inc. (BEMAI).

Fr. Carlito Clase of the Diocese of Butuan expresses his
thanks to all the local candidates and guests who participated in the
Ecumenical Local Candidates Forum held on May 3, 2016 at Robinsons Place
Atrium, Butuan City. He also called on the general public to join them in
prayer to have an honest, orderly & peaceful elections on May 9, 2016. (PIA

Most Rev. Juan de Dios Pueblos of the Diocese of Butuan
(third from left) during the Ecumenical Local Candidates Forum held at
Robinsons Place Atrium, Butuan City on May 3, 2016. Bishop Pueblos said that
politics is a way of life. He emphasized that people should follow their heart

Allan Salem, president of Butuan Evangelical Ministers Association Inc.
(BEMAI), led the prayer during the Ecumenical Local Candidates Forum for all
the local candidates held on May 3 in Butuan City. He also encouraged everyone
to help campaign for an honest, orderly and peaceful elections. (PIA Caraga)
Pastor Nolan Lloren of Butuan Evangelical Ministers
Association Inc. (BEMAI) clarified that the Ecumenical Local Candidates Forum
held in Butuan City is not the same with the other usual debate of candidates
already conducted by other organizers, but rather a spiritual gathering of
candidates with the religious sector to attain an Honest, Orderly and Peaceful
